After a large delay, my Bingo order finally arrived. Minus the prizes, these are the goodies that I get to use. One of our make n takes will feature the Share What You Love Suite from the annual catalog: Love What You Do Stamp Set, Grapefruit Grove Cardstock, Rich Razzleberry Velvet Ribbon, Lovely Floral Embossing Folder, and Very Vanilla Lace Trim. I have the DSP, Artisan Pearls, and Pearlized Doilies already in my stash. The other make n take features items from the Holiday Catalog. I once again let my attendees choose between Halloween, Fall, and Christmas. Beyond the DSP, I grabbed the Spooky Sweets Bundle, Black Glittered Organdy Ribbon, Spider Trinkets, Real Red Satin Ribbon, All is Bright Paper Clips, Many Blessings Stamp set, Tranquil Tide Velvet Ribbon, and Iridescent Boxwood Wreaths.
Bushel and a Bike
Today’s card is being featured on Stylin’ Stampin’ Inkspiration. The challenge was to create a card featuring apples. I really miss the apple festivals of the Midwest. California just doesn't have the same kind of festivals. Thankfully I will get a little taste of it when we move back to Nebraska in a few weeks. For my card, I found that I actually do have apple stamps in my collection. The fun Bike Ride stamp set features this cute little pile of apples that can be added to the basket of the bike or just scattered around. I started with my apples and then grabbed some fun colors that coordinated. From there, I stamped and die cut my bike and created the scene. Of course I had to feature some matching DSP from the Country Lane pack. Now someone bring me a mug of cider!
- Stamps: Bike Ride; Better Together
- Inks: Early Espresso; Old Olive; Blueberry Bushel; Real Red; Crumb Cake
- Cardstock: Country Lane DSP; Crushed Curry; Crumb Cake; Whisper White

Brighten Up Your Christmas
Today’s card is being featured on Stylin’ Stampin’ Inkspiration. The challenge was to create a card featuring your favorite Holiday Catalog stamp set. I'm always a sucker for a good simple Christmas stamp set. The Making Christmas Bright stamp set is just the thing! I've already made a few cards using it and wanted another fun and simple card. I simple filled my white piece with strings of lights, added some layered DSP, and finished off my card with a great sentiment. Easy peasy!
- Stamps: Making Christmas Bright
- Inks: Basic Gray; Real Red; Call Me Clover; Daffodil Delight
- Cardstock: All is Bright DSP; Call Me Clover; Whisper White
- Accessories:
- Tools: Layering Circles Dies
A Leafy Hello Redone
Today’s card is being featured on Stylin’ Stampin’ Inkspiration. The challenge was to CASE a card from one of the Design Team. In fact, we are CASEing me today! For my card, I decided to copy this card from last September. I really love the layout of this card but wanted to update it for current products. I switched out the DSP from these lovely stripes from the Nature's Poem Pack. I added some coordinating cardstock. I switched out the leaves for vases and the ribbon for some sparkly coordinating ribbon. I really love the design of this card!
- Stamps: Varied Vases
- Inks: Tranquil Tide; Mint Macaron; Petal Pink; Mango Melody; Soft Suede; Crumb Cake; Rich Razzleberry
- Cardstock: Nature's Poem DSP; Tranquil Tide; Soft Suede; Petal Pink; Whisper White
- Accessories: Metallic Ribbon Combo Pack
- Tools: Stitched Shapes Framelits
Fun n Crafty Blog Hop
It's time for another fun blog hop from the Fun n Crafty Stampers! Today we are celebrating the launch of the Holiday Catalog featuring cards showcasing various products. I choose to highlight my favorite bundle in the catalog with the Making Christmas Bright Bundle. I love the fun Christmas light images. So I created a card by stamping and punching a ton (and I do mean a ton) of separate bulbs and casings. I found a fancy trick to making stamping and punching easy. I punched out the image from a piece of random scrap paper and used that as a stamping template. So easy! From there, I spent some time varying the colors to create a fun multi-colored light strand. Love this card so much!
I made a few variations:
- Stamps: Making Christmas Bright
- Inks: Real Red; Call Me Clover; Flirty Flamingo; Daffodil Delight; Old Olive
- Cardstock: All is Bright DSP; Old Olive; Real Red; Flirty Flamingo;
- Accessories: Sheer Old Olive Ribbon; Real Red Ribbon
- Tools: Stitched Shapes Framelits; Gold Embossing Powder; Christmas Bulb Builder Punch
Blog Hop List:
- Stacey -- A Work of Carte
- Christine -- Artful Musings
- Merit -- MB Squared Designs
- Nicole -- Inky Fingers Stamping

September Crafting Goals
A recap of last month’s goals:
- May, June, July 2018 PL Pages -- Success!
- June and July MP Pages -- Success!
- August and September SSINK posts -- 50% Success! I still have a few September posts I want to finish, but I did get a fair number done.
- Fall Bingo Make n Takes -- Fail. Well, really I got parts of them started, but I can't finish until I get the Bingo supply order that I submitted yesterday...
- August Stamp Club Projects -- Success! Like usual I finished them two days before the event, but they got done.
- Organize planner supplies -- Success! All my supplies are in an big Iris case or in my actual planner. Plus, I laid out my kits for September and October.
- Pack up PL supplies -- Success!
September Goals: It's moving month! So crafting will be taking a back seat to actually moving and getting everything else taken care of. But, I'm hoping to sneak in a few projects...
- August MP Pages -- Hoping to get this done before we move. I might even get half of September finished before we leave or take it with me to Indiana.
- Finish September SSINK posts (maybe do a couple of October before we move) -- I know I will be taking a few weeks off from SSINK in the midst of the move, but I want to get some finished beforehand.
- Have a successful Fall Bingo Event -- Really looking forward to this on Sept. 8th.
- Send out Birthday Thank You Cards -- I've got them prepped, just need to write the notes and get them sent.
- Finish packing craft area -- Just a few more boxes to go, but it will have to wait until after the 8th.
