It's time for my annual Christmas break from blogging. I hope everyone has a happy Holiday season and I will be back in early January with more craft projects!
Simple Reindeer
To finish off my Christmas cards for the year, I present this simple reindeer card that uses vellum (why do I always forget I own this?), random scraps of DSP, and some retired candy dots.
- Stamps: Merry Patterns
- Inks: Crumb Cake; Garden Green
- Cardstock: Be Merry DSP; Cherry Cobbler; Vellum; Whisper White
- Accessories: Regals Candy Dots (retired)
- Tools: Stitched Shapes Framelits
Tranquil Reindeer
Rose Red, Tranquil Tide, and Smoky Slate equal a great nontraditional color palette for today's card. The pattern of the DSP reminded me of Christmas decorations, so I had to use it.
- Stamps: Merry Patterns
- Inks: Smoky Slate; Rose Red
- Cardstock: Fresh Florals DSP; Basic Gray; Whisper White
- Accessories: Metallic Foil Snowflakes; Rhinestones
- Tools: Layering Circles Framelits
Candles Galore
Today's card is all about featuring the beautiful bold stamps from the Merry Patterns stamp set. I decided to let the stamps shine and only add some background DSP for color.
- Stamps: Merry Patterns
- Inks: Cherry Cobbler; Garden Green; Daffodil Delight; Basic Black
- Cardstock: Be Merry DSP; Basic Black; Whisper White

Currently
Reading: A Christmas to Remember anthology. I grabbed this collection from the library to read some historical romance for the holidays.
Watching: Lizzie Borden Chronicles. So campy, but I'm loving it!
Listening: Q is getting his canines and there's just been a lot of screaming lately.
Making: Christmas cookies are on tap for this week.
Feeling: So, so tired. The boys are not sleeping well at night and no one is napping.
Planning: We've got some more Christmas activities to schedule before Christmas Day. Hoping to fit them in.
Loving: With Q not feeling great, I have been get lots of snuggles.
Polka Dots and Stripes in Season
I went with lots of pattern, sparkle, and shine for this card! I can't believe I still had some Mint Macaron Glimmer Paper left over from this year's Sale-a-Bration. The sparkly strip was the perfect addition to this card.
- Stamps: Merry Patterns
- Inks: Emerald Envy; Watermelon Wonder (retired); Daffodil Delight; Basic Black
- Cardstock: 2016-2018 In Color DSP (retired); 2015-2017 In Color DSP (retired); Emerald Envy; Mint Macaron Glimmer Paper (retired); Whisper White

Reindeer Among Snowflakes
Another nontraditional color card for this season. I really enjoy the blue and silver color palette. As a bonus, this card used up a ton of my leftover Christmas Around the World DSP.
- Stamps: Merry Patterns
- Inks: Basic Gray; Night of Navy
- Cardstock: Christmas Around the World DSP; Smoky Slate; Basic Gray; Whisper White
- Accessories: Metallic Foil Snowflakes; Rhinestones
- Tools: Layering Circles Framelits
Musical Reindeer
How pretty is this card? I love the combo of pink and lime green. I think I should make a few more of these cards to send out...
- Stamps: Merry Patterns; Merry Mistletoe
- Inks: Smoky Slate; Lemon Lime Twist; Berry Burst
- Cardstock: Merry Music DSP; Berry Burst; Lemon Lime Twist; Whisper White
- Accessories: Black Rhinestones

Falling Snowflakes
I went simple with today's card focusing on stamping instead of techniques or layering. I started with my sentiment and then added the falling snowflakes around it. I love the layered stamping. To finish off the card, I added a strip of ribbon and a layer of DSP.
- Stamps: Snowflake Sentiments
- Inks: Real Red; Garden Green
- Cardstock: Be Merry DSP; Real Red; Whisper White
- Accessories: Quilted Christmas Ribbon
