April's Memory Planner pages. So excited that I'm keeping up with this ongoing craft project. I'm also using lots of random stickers from my stash, so yeah!
Project Life 2018 Round Up
For 2018, I decided to change up my Project Life plans and go back to weekly spreads. I enjoyed the monthly spreads, but often included too many photos. I wanted to be a bit more selective of what I put in the albums. I ended up getting a late start on this year's pages as I wanted to finish up 2017 first. So sometime in March, I finally starting printing photos and putting together spreads. Here are my spreads for January - April:
W1 January 1-7
W2 January 8-14
W3 January 15-21
W4 January 22-28
W5 January 29 - February 4
W6 February 5-11
W7 February 12-18
W8 February 19-25
W9 February 26 - March 4
W10 March 5-11 -- Documented in my Week of the Life album
W11 March 12-18
W12 March 19-25
W13 March 26 - April 1
W14 April 2-8
W15 April 9-15

Currently
Reading: The second in the Lady Sherlock Holmes series, A Conspiracy in Belgravia. I'm really enjoying it.
Watching: Finally got to watch UnReal S3! Been loving my nights.
Listening: The kids have been very amped up this week. So much yelling coming from those two.
Making: One of my stamp club ladies wants my retiring Pieces and Patterns stamp set, but I wanted to get just a few more cards out of it. So I went a little crazy yesterday and stamp out a ton of random pieces to create a few cards.
Feeling: Solo parenting this week has been rough... Sunday was great and then yesterday was horrid. And now today is not amazing.
Planning: No idea what we're eating for dinner for this week. I should get on that...
Loving: I picked up some cheap bottles of white wine to enjoy this week.
Hand Delivered Balloons
Today’s card was made for my demo group's annual catalog swap. I picked the cute Hostess Stamp Set Hand Delivered and paired it with the gorgeous Garden Impressions DSP and Metallic Ribbon Combo. I had to make 11 cards for the swap so I thought I would play with the color combinations a bit. Half of my cards featured the below piece of DSP and the pink ribbon with coordinating light color cardstock and colored in dresses. The other half featured a darker piece of DSP with the Shaded Spruce ribbon and coordinating colors. I love how fun these cards are! I hope the ladies enjoy them,

Sunday Haul #9
I stopped by Michael's to get some white paper, but I can never walk away without checking out all the other goodies. All of the planner supplies were 40% hence the two sticker sheets and the Mambi sticker book. Plus the wash tape was 50%. And I saved an extra 25% off of all my items with a rewards coupon. All this for $21.00! That's basically the cost of the sticker book.
A small Stampin' Up! order for May's club. I grabbed some Bermuda Bay Cardstock (running low), the Tailored Tag Punch (carrying over and coordinates with a new stamp set), and the retiring and on sale Tranquil Tide and Fresh Fig ribbon (it was too pretty to pass up).
Garden Love
Today’s card is being featured on Stylin’ Stampin’ Inkspiration. The challenge was to create using products from the new catalog. Once I was able to preorder some products, I knew the gorgeous Garden Impressions DSP stack had to be my number one purchase. The patterns are colorful and so versatile. I chose a piece of DSP and die cut this gorgeous floral corner piece as the focal point for my card. From there I simply added a couple pieces of ribbon, a simple sentiment (love this font!), and a few gems. Simple card, but I love it! I love it so much that I featured this at May's stamp club. The ladies picked different color combos and DSP patterns to put their own spin on my card.
- Stamps: Abstract Impressions
- Inks: Night of Navy
- Cardstock: Garden Impressions DSP; So Saffron; Shaded Spruce
- Accessories: Faceted Gems; Metallic Ribbon Combo (Shaded Spruce used)
- Tools: Springtime Impressions Thinlits
Under the Sea
It's officially May which means it's time to say goodbye to all the retiring stamp sets. In total, I'm losing 18 stamp sets from my collection (although a few of those will be kept because I love them so much). Many of these stamp sets are still available, but they are no longer guaranteed. If you want any of the sets featured, buy now before they are gone!
I wanted to make a masculine underwater card. After digging through my patterned paper stack, I landed on the True Gentleman DSP as the perfect compliment to the Seaside Shore fish and anchor. I love the use of the Embossing Folder as a background piece and the sparkly glitter enamel dots.
For my second card, I wanted to use the Seaside Embossing Folder to create an underwater scene. I stamped on the seaweed and bubbles and then embossed my piece of Vanilla. From there I stamped and cut out the fish and sentiment. I layered those onto paper to create a ocean-like background and finished the card with some glitter enamel shapes and pearls.
- Stamps: Seaside Shore
- Inks: Night fo Navy; Dapper Denim; Emerald Envy; Calypso Coral; Soft Sky; Tranquil Tide
- Cardstock: True Gentleman DSP; Color Theory DSP; Very Vanilla; Night of Navy; Tranquil Tide; Dapper Denim
- Accessories: Pearls; Glitter Enamel Dots
- Tools: Seaside Embossing Folder
Tutti-Frutti Birthday
Sadly we are losing the super fun Tutti-Frutti DSP stack, the shiny Metallic Foil Doilies, and lots of ribbon. So why am I posting these cards today? Because this design is just so versatile! Simply pick some fun paper, layer on some coordinating cardstock, wrap the layers in some ribbon, and add a layered sentiment. Easy Peasy! It was so easy, I went a little crazy and made six different versions. Thankfully I always need birthday cards on hand to send out. These will be going to good homes in the next couple of months.
- Stamps: Picture Perfect Birthday
- Inks: Garden Green, Berry Burst, Melon Mambo, Real Red
- Cardstock: Tutti-Frutti DSP, Crushed Curry, Soft Suede, Garden Green, Lemon Lime Twist, Island Indigo, Pool Party, Tangerine Tango, Peekaboo Peach, Real Red, Calypso Coral, Whisper White
- Accessories: Metallic Foil Doilies, Crushed Curry Ribbon, Lemon Lime Twist Ombre Ribbon, Basic Gray Shimmer Ribbon, Peekaboo Peach Ribbon, Calypso Coral Shimmer Ribbon
- Tools: Layering Circles Framelits

Today's quartet of birthday cards is a direct CASE from Bree @ Craft-somnia Momma. How could I not CASE these? They are the perfect simple birthday cards to highlight the fun images from the Magical Day stamp set and the pretty Myths and Magic DSP (sadly discontinued already).

In Color Thank You
Every new catalog, I always make a collection of cards to show-off the new In Colors. For this year's colors, I chose to use the new In Color DSP stack and the returning Daisy Delight stamp set. It's hard to choose, but I think Lovely Lipstick may be my favorite new In Color, followed closely by Call Me Clover. Not: I did not make a separate card with Pineapple Punch (too light for the sentiment), but I did use is for the Daisy centers.
- Stamps: Daisy Delight
- Inks: Lovely Lipstick, Call Me Clover, Grapefruit Grove, Blueberry Bushel, Pineapple Punch
- Cardstock: Lovely Lipstick, Call Me Clover, Grapefruit Grove, Blueberry Bushel, Whisper White
- Accessories:
- Tools: Stitched Shapes Framelits; Triple Banner Punch; Daisy Punch
